"This is my Bible"

Each week the children should be holding up their Bible and saying the declaration, “This is my Bible…”

1.  We want them to get this declaration into their heart at an early age so they can take ownership of the Word of God.

2.  Encourage them to make this declaration every time they open their Bible.  Not as a mere tradition, but as a reminder of the importance of the written Word of God.

 Declaration

 This is my Bible

It is God speaking to me

I am who it says I am

I can do what it says I can do

I can have what it says I can have

So I open my heart today

To hear God speak a word

That will change my life forever
